Tegen <strong>2032<\/strong> streeft NMBS ernaar <strong>95% van haar afval te valoriseren<\/strong> en zo de verwijdering ervan drastisch te beperken (maximaal 5%).<\/p>\n<p>In dat kader zet NMBS haar al jarenlang geleverde inspanningen voort om de afvalproductie in haar stations, gebouwen en werkplaatsen te beperken. De focus ligt op preventie, selectieve inzameling en recyclage, met een uitbreiding van de <strong>selectieve afvalsortering<\/strong> naar de<strong> 100 grootste stations<\/strong> van het land (tegenover 84 in 2023). In <strong>2025<\/strong> werd <strong>82% van het afval gevaloriseerd<\/strong> (hergebruikt, gerecycleerd of verbrand met energierecuperatie).<\/p>\n<p>In 2025 werd over alle activiteiten van NMBS heen ongeveer<strong> 22 000 ton afval<\/strong> ingezameld, met name in de stations, in de treinen, in de werkplaatsen en stelplaatsen, evenals in de administratieve gebouwen.<\/p>\n<p>In de treinen werd bijna<strong> 900 ton afval<\/strong> ingezameld, een cijfer dat relatief stabiel is ten opzichte van de voorgaande jaren, en ongeveer <strong>3 100 ton in de stations<\/strong> (de tweede grootste afvalstroom, na de werkplaatsen en onderhoudsposten).<\/p>\n<p>De totale kost van het afvalbeheer bedraagt doorgaans tussen <strong>3 en 3,5 miljoen euro per jaar (3,2 miljoen euro in 2025)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","centre":false},{"acf_fc_layout":"media","media":"image","image":2922,"rive":"","size":"small","zoomable":false}]},"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.5 -
